Old Growth Forest

The forest is often misunderstood. We have grown accustomed to seeing the industrial forest as the norm, yet it is but a shadow of what a forest truly is. The natural forest is a living tapestry of intertwined relationships, unfolding and thriving on its own terms, evolved through centuries untouched by human intervention. They are home to endangered species and are themselves on the brink of extinction.

Through these images, I pay homage to the old-growth forest - serene, untamed and beautiful. My aim is to highlight the irreplaceable biodiversity they represent and the urgent need to protect them. By capturing their beauty, I hope to focus attention on what is at risk.
